Class Policies, Terms and Conditions, Consent, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Liability

No food, drink or toys.  Please turn off cell phones or set to vibrate before coming into classroom.

Registration:  Registration is on a first-come first-served basis. You may enroll online.

Tuition and Materials: First child’s tuition is $160. Tuition for additional siblings is $120. Siblings under 9 months are always free! Each registered family receives a professionally recorded CD of the songs we are doing in class; a beautifully illustrated songbook with music, lyrics and family activity suggestions; free access to song downloads and activities from the Family Music Zone® on the Music Together® website; and a quarterly e-newsletter featuring activity suggestions and other fun features. There is also a free Music Together® app that can be used to access each semester’s songs on your favorite device using the code inside your CD jacket. First-time families also receive a parent guide, "Music And Your Child.” Of course, all this is included in addition to the 45-minute fun filled classes! Receiving curriculum materials is not optional. Each family has one registration fee and receives only one set of materials no matter how many siblings register.

New Family Registration Fee: Each new family will be charged a one-time-only $10 registration fee.

Cancellations and Refunds: You may cancel your registration for any reason up to 48 hours before your first class. You will be refunded your tuition minus a $10 cancellation fee.  We regret we cannot offer any refunds after the first class has started.

Class Availability: Class schedule may be adjusted depending upon number of families registered.

Make-ups: If you need to make-up a class at another scheduled time, please contact Melissa Cotton prior to attending to ensure that there is space available. There will be no refunds for missed classes.  If possible, an extra class will be added to the end of the semester calandar and will be considered a make-up class.

Class Cancellations: If a class does not have at least 6 registered families, we may have to cancel or reschedule at another time to accommodate as many families as possible.  If a class ultimately has to be cancelled, we will offer a full refund.

Cameras and Phone Usage: Phones are asked to be set to vibrate when class is in session.  Photos are not to be taken during class in order to respect the privacy of other families. You may be asked to sign a waiver to allow Music Together of Fort Mill to take photos for marketing purposes only.  You are not required to sign the waiver, and we will never take or post your picture without permission.

Visitors:  Grandparents and older relatives are always welcome to attend with your child.  If it is necessary for an older sibling to attend during the semester, they may attend free for one class.  If they need to attend more than once during the semester, there will be a $10 fee per older sibling.

Food: Do not bring food or drinks to class, except for bottled water.  If a child needs to be bottle-fed or nursed, you may use a private adjoining room.

Health: Please wash your hands or use provided hand sanitizer when entering and leaving class.  Instruments and surfaces will be sanitized between each class. (You are welcome to supply your own egg shakers, rhythm sticks and small percussion play along instruments if you prefer.)  Our classroom is shoes-free. Please let any caregivers who'll be bringing your child to class know that they are expected to remove their shoes before entering the classroom.  (We are also happy to provide sanitizing wipes for those with shoes that cannot be removed. Just ask!) Socks are recommended.

Illnesses: For the health and safety of all families, please follow our 24-hour illness policy. Children should remain home and be symptom-free for at least 24 hours before returning to class after a fever (without medication), vomiting, diarrhea, cold or flu-like symptoms, head lice, or communicable illnesses such as COVID-19, RSV, strep throat, pink eye, or hand, foot, and mouth disease. If your child has a highly contagious illness, please notify us so we can anonymously alert other families of potential exposure.

To help protect vulnerable community members, we ask that families also follow current medical guidelines after exposure to contagious illnesses. If a class is canceled due to teacher illness, families will be notified promptly and a make-up class will be scheduled. For illness-related concerns or exposure notifications, please contact Ms. Melissa at [email protected].

Weather Cancellations: We will follow the York District 4 cancellation policy for inclement weather.  Updates will be posted on this website as soon as possible. We will do our very best to schedule a make-up class due to a weather cancellation, as long as it does not interfere with the next semester's schedule.
